About us

People First Approach To Professional Development

Knowing how you are showing up in life is crucial to your results, relationships and resilience, personally and professionally.

When we move beyond who we think we are and discover powerful parts of ourselves we never knew existed, we unlock new opportunities and new potential. Each step forward isn’t just about learning – it’s about building an experience. The journey of becoming the best versions of ourselves, equipped with tools and insights to make sustainable change and lasting impact.

When we trust ourselves, others will too.

Whenever we embark on a journey, we need to know who we are, where we are going and where we are at. Integrating  statistically proven profiling tools, we fast-track insights and transformations. Our unique format and relatable approach amplifies awareness to grow, expand and influence outcomes in life, with confidence and success.

Where Do Horses Fit In?

Horses and humans have been working together for centuries for good reason. Whether you have horse experience or not, this approach will be different to anything you have previously experienced! Horses are an integral component of our Milabena based workshops, providing a unique ingredient for the transformative experiences.

With ground-based, non-riding activities, we offer tailored formats to suit individuals and specific business requirements. There’s no role-play; it's real play, and that’s often something we don't often get to experience while learning new skills or developing ourselves.

Drawing parallels between the concepts, meanings, and scenarios encountered while engaging with horses and interacting with people, we find relatability to the recurring patterns and inevitable uncertainties we experience in daily life.

Whether you are looking for individual skill-building, culture change or leadership expansion of yourself and your community of people, horses make for the most encouraging and non-judgmental mentors with insights, feedback and fresh perspectives.

Our facilitation technique ensures safety and guides participants through a journey of empowerment and growth.

We have high quality connections to provide workshops and retreats

Professional Development with a people first approach

Melissa is the 2023 Tasmanian winner of the Agrifutures Rural Women’s Award for her Leading Rein initiative.

'“Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my Pop's kind and clear approach to working with horses, which unknowingly instilled in me the essence of exceptional leadership.

Marrying into a third-generation dairy farming family, I found myself quickly immersed in the agricultural industry. Over the years, my husband and I have built a successful dairy enterprise and I also run an accommodation business and an indoor equestrian facility.

Life on the farm has always been a juggling act—raising three daughters, daily farm tasks, and admin duties. I would often feel overwhelmed and out of my depth, yet kept pushing through.

However, a transformative farm accident in 2016 became a catalyst for profound personal growth. It forced me to reevaluate my approach to living by default or living by design.

Through Leading Rein, I combine my extensive experience in leadership and passion for human behaviour with my love for horses. My goal is to bring people together to help recognise their unique qualities, strengths, and untapped potential for personal and collective empowerment.”

Melissa is available for public speaking engagements. Contact us to discuss how she can contribute to your event.
